Ken Oyler

Ken Oyler is a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio. He was raised in Hubbard and graduated from Hubbard High School in 2004. During his time there, he gained his first exposure to the financial services industry by shadowing a local Financial Advisor through a Career Explorations program—an experience that sparked a lasting passion for the field. He went on to earn a degree in Business and Finance from Youngstown State University in 2009.

Following graduation, Ken was recruited by several regional banks and began his career as a Personal Banker. Through dedication and strong performance, he advanced into leadership as a Branch Manager before transitioning into a Financial Consultant role. In this capacity, he focused on building deeper client relationships and helping individuals and families achieve their long-term financial goals. After the financial institution where he worked was acquired in early 2025, Ken chose to join Thomas Ankrom, his longtime SmartVestor advisor, mentor, and trusted colleague.

Ken is known for his attention to detail, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for helping others. He takes pride in delivering exceptional service and approaches his work with a teacher’s mindset, valuing patience and clear communication as key strengths.He is driven by a mission to help clients build generational wealth, live debt-free, and retire with dignity. Ken believes that with a positive attitude, a well-structured plan, and the right guidance, meaningful financial success is achievable for anyone.

Ken resides in the Boardman–Canfield area with his wife, Sara. Together, they are devoted animal lovers and proud pet parents to two Papillon dogs, Ponce and Penelope, and an American Shorthair tabby cat, Pascal. In their free time, they enjoy visiting Mill Creek Park, spending time with family and friends, and doting on their four nieces.
